Steve Hardy Bio
Most of Steve's serigraphs have a connection with the water. His affinity for the water and the seashore is evident in most of his prints. This interest developed at Silver Beach on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and the Barrier Islands.
His signature trademark is his ability to pull a blend of multiple colors on a singe pass of the squeegee. Using as many as five separate colors, he pulls together the multiple bands of color into a smooth, lush, blended spectrum.
He began producing hand made prints when he was seven. It has been his livelihood all of his adult life. Making a serigraph is his sense of being and purpose.
